Hermi is excited to participate in the 56th MOS Trade Fair, taking place from September 18 to 22, 2024, in Celje, Slovenia. We invite you to visit us at Hall L, Stand 43, where we will be presenting our latest breakthroughs in lightning protection, surge protection, mounting systems for solar power plants and cable management systems. This year, we are placing a special emphasis on protecting homes and solar power installations from the devastating effects of lightning strikes, as well as introducing new advancements in our cable tray product range.
Lightning strikes are not just spectacular natural events – they are also capable of causing significant mechanical damage, electrical failures, and even fires. With electric currents exceeding 200 kA, lightning poses a serious risk, particularly to electrical infrastructure. As solar power adoption continues to grow in the green energy transition, the need for adequate protection systems is more critical than ever. Owners and investors must prioritize lightning protection to safeguard their assets and prevent potentially catastrophic damage.
One of the highlighted products is the KON11 UNI universal pipe bonding clamp. This versatile, adjustable clamp allows quick installation of lightning conductors on (drain) pipes of different dimensions without the need for bolts or electric tools. It is available in two technical versions: one allowing the lightning conductor to be attached directly to the pipe, and the other version with a double-click fastener allowing the clamp to be mounted independently of the lightning conductor.
In addition to lightning protection, we will be introducing new products in our cable tray range, including the WKP walkable cable trays. Engineered for environments like manufacturing plants, warehouses, and power stations, these trays are designed with a non-slip surface to ensure both safety and durability. They comply with EN 61537 standards and offer superior mechanical protection for cables, making them ideal for high-traffic areas or locations near machinery where cable paths need to be protected.
Another featured product at our stand is the PKPM-SPH quick clamp for fastening Hermi mesh cable trays. This innovative connecting element is compatible with all Hermi mesh cable tray widths. It provides a fast and a secure solution for cable routing without the need for bolts or tools. The PKPM-SPH quick clamp is available in a variety of durable materials, such as stainless steel, galvanized metal sheet, hot-dip galvanized metal sheet and other.
