Stolac Multipurpose Hall

A new multipurpose hall is planned for opening in Stolac, southern Bosnia and Herzegovina, at the end of August 2024. The contractor, GTR d.o.o., has utilized Hermi cable trays and other cable management products for the building’s electrical installations.
Designing and locating cable paths in a facility requires careful consideration of several factors. These cable paths support various electrical functions, including general lighting, sports area lighting, security lighting, ventilation, cooling, heating, sound, telecommunications and other.
The company GTR d.o.o. Mostar has installed almost 700 meters of Hermi cable trays for distributing the installations. This includes standard 2-meter KP 60/300 cable trays (88700103) made of galvanized sheet metal, interconnected with bolts, as well as 2-meter KPK 60/100/2.0m cable trays (88750021) and 3-meter KPK 60/100/3.0m cable trays (88750031) with the patented Fast Klick® boltless system. Hermi Fast Klick® cable trays enable quick and easy connections without bolts or special tools, and they are compatible with Hermi’s standard connecting and supporting components.

Nearly 700 meters of Hermi cable trays have been installed in Stolac Hall.
The cable trays are mounted on walls or ceilings using Hermi NKP support elements. For ceiling installations, welded hanging brackets NKP-DH 57-10 (88718990) were used. The NKP-SNT wall brackets are attached to the hanging brackets, with NKP-SNT 310 (88704143) and NKP-SNT 110 (88704141) selected for cable trays with widths of 300 mm and 100 mm, respectively.
Nearly 300 different Hermi brackets were used in total.
Proper design and installation of the entire cable path according to expected loads are crucial. Numerous bolting materials were employed to install and secure the cable trays and other elements in the Stolac Sports Hall. This included PP M10X25 bolts for securing support elements, PP M10x75 anchor bolts for attaching NKP support elements to concrete walls or ceilings, and PP M10 flange nuts and PP M6X12 truss-head bolts for interconnecting standard cable trays and joining connection elements.
Construction of the 4,473 m² multipurpose facility began in 2022. The €3.5 million (BAM 7 million) investment includes a sports hall with two tribunes, locker rooms, and other spaces, as well as a commercial section for cultural, conference, protocol, and other events. An additional €1 million (BAM 2 million) will be invested in landscaping the surrounding area, including constructing a square and green areas in front of the building.
The new sports hall will enhance conditions for the development of sports and athletes in the city. It will provide top-class facilities year-round, whether for school, amateur, or professional sports. Additionally, it will promote cultural and tourist development.

The Stolac Multipurpose Hall is scheduled for completion and opening at the end of August 2024.
