Hermi Receives the "Creators for the Century" Award
Last month, Hermi was honored with the Creators for the Century Award 2023 (Stvaratelji za stoljeća) in recognition of its contributions to idea development, innovation, and investment in entrepreneurship in Central and South-Eastern Europe. This prestigious award was presented at the 4th World Congress of Entrepreneurs in Montenegro, and accepted by Miran Rauter, Hermi's owner and CEO, in acknowledgment of his work in advancing entrepreneurship through innovation, sustainable investment, and significant growth.
The "Creators for the Century" award celebrates leading companies and visionaries fostering entrepreneurial spirit and economic progress in Central and South-Eastern Europe. Out of 126 applicants, Hermi was chosen as one of 22 recipients. An independent international jury of 14 experts in economics, management, sociology, and ecology recognized Hermi's impact as a standout example of visionary entrepreneurship in the region.

Notable recent awards include the Bronze Regional Innovation Award for the KON11 UNI pipe bonding clamp, the Platinum Creditworthiness Certificate of Excellence from Dun & Bradstreet, and the Bronze Coat of Arms of the Municipality of Celje in recognition of the CEO’s successful entrepreneurial career, responsible approach to employees, the environment, business partners, and customers, and commitment to high ethical standards.
Next year, Hermi will celebrate 40 years in business. Its products are available in over 50 markets worldwide, with headquarters and production facilities in Slovenia, and subsidiaries in Serbia, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Austria.
In recent years, Hermi has prioritized automation, robotization, and digitalization to boost production efficiency and capacity while supporting sustainable practices, demonstrated by the company's dedication to reducing its carbon footprint, optimizing energy consumption, and implementing comprehensive waste management strategies.
The next World Congress of Entrepreneurs will be held in Slovenia from October 15 to 18, 2025, under the theme "Slovenia – a Country of Entrepreneurship and Innovation."
