Hermi continues successful development and expands into foreign markets
Company Hermi – European manufacturer of lightning and surge protection, cable trays and ladders and mounting structures for solar power plants, continues to expand further into global markets. In the last three years, the company’s sales in foreign markets increased 120%. The total sales have also recorded a positive trend, increasing by an overall 15%.
Despite pessimistic forecasts, delays and a demanding supply of raw materials, Hermi had its production capacity fully booked in the first half of this year. In the first half of this year, sales volumes increased compared to the same period last year. Overall the company records a 15% increase in the past three years. The forecasts are promising for the second half of the year as well. Due to the increased demand, especially for cable trays and ladders, the construction of a new production plant began in the spring and is expected to be completed later in the autumn.
The coronavirus pandemic positively affected the company’s operations by digitizing operations, consolidating, optimizing and automating production processes. The company focused even more on business activities in foreign markets, although the largest market for Hermi remains the domestic market and neighbouring countries. The EU-based manufacturer has subsidiaries in Austria, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Croatia, and currently sells its products in more than 40 world markets.
Hermi cooperates with many globally renowned distributors and installers and is always seeking new partnerships along the way. The company continues to broaden its horizons by adding new business contacts in Germany, Italy, Switzerland, Poland, Slovakia, the Czech Republic, Hungary and other markets.
